Gaithersburg, MD (January 12, 2013) - The Bay Area Shuckers (4-3) ralled from multiple deficits over 20 points to cut the lead to eight to start the fourth quarter, and reduce the margin to one with just minutes to go, but fell to the Rockville Victors (7-1) 128-116. Rocky Coleman led the Shuckers with 34 points while Gus Chase added 31. Jabril Bailey, in his Shuckers debut scored 18 points and had 13 rebounds off the bench.
Despite the loss the tonight the Shuckers held on to their Colonial Division lead. They now travel next weekend to take on division foes, the Nova Hawks on Saturday night at 7:00 PM and the West Virginia Monarch on Sunday at 3:00 PM. The Shuckers return home on Saturday, January 26th to face the Monarchs at 7:00 PM at the Kilby Center located on the campus of Annapolis Area Christian School in Severn, Maryland.
