Shuckers Bowie Earns All-Star MVP, South Wins

Severn, MD (April 1, 2012) - The Bay Area Shuckers Adrian Bowie led the South squad to a 135-124 victory over the North team in The Bank of Glen Burnie ACPBL All-Star Game hosted by the Shuckers Sunday afternoon at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland.

Bowie (Maryland) was named the game's Most Valuable Player for his 22 point, eight rebound, six assist performance. Rogers Barnes (Morgan State) of the Beltway Bombers led the South with 23 points, while Antoine Morgan of the Garden State Rebels contributed 19 points. Bernard Clark, of the Rebels led the South with 11 rebounds, while Mike Konopka of the Toms River Shooters added ten boards.

The North was led by Charles Easterling of the Hartford Lighting with 21 points, while Brian Kortovich of New York City 524 scored 17 and Corriche Gaskin of the Lightning posted 16 points.

Before the All-Star Game Kortovich won the iBallMag.com Three Point Shooting contest, while Diedrick King of the Lightning won the iBallMag.com Slam Dunk Competition.
